We’ll be staying in Goa from 26–30 November. Join us for the whole trip, or head home on Sunday 29 November if you need to get back for work. We’d love to have you with us for whatever time suits you.

For Haldi on 25 November, choose a relaxed kurta, light dress or comfortable Indian set in sunshine tones. Turmeric can stain, so wear something washable that you don’t mind getting a little colourful.

02 / Welcome Lunch & Mehendi
Welcome Lunch flows into Mehendi on 24 November, so one outfit covers both. Think playful prints, greens, pinks and light Indian occasionwear: a colourful dress, kurta set or comfortable co-ord. There’s no need to change after lunch.
If you’d like henna, sleeves that stay clear of your hands and forearms make it easier to let the design dry.

03 / Under the stars
Rich jewel tones, a touch of shimmer and festive eveningwear. Think a lehenga, embellished kurta, elegant dress or a suit with a colourful accent.
Choose an outfit you can dance in. Comfortable shoes may be the most valuable thing in your suitcase.

04 / The main occasion
A sari, lehenga, anarkali, sherwani or kurta with a jacket would be wonderful. Formal eveningwear or a well-cut suit is equally welcome.
Bring a light shawl or layer, and choose something comfortable for sitting through the ceremony. Any colour requests will be shared with the final dress code.

Your first Indian wedding?
A few little introductions to the traditions you may encounter. Customs vary between families; we’ll share the details of our own ceremony nearer the day.
Haldi is a joyful pre-wedding tradition involving turmeric paste. Mehendi is the application of intricate henna designs. You’re welcome to enjoy the gathering, ask questions and join in when invited.
A Sangeet brings families and friends together through music and dancing. No expertise needed — enthusiasm and a willingness to celebrate are plenty.
The Baraat is the groom’s celebratory arrival procession, often accompanied by music and dancing. If it forms part of our day, we’ll include the meeting point and time in the final schedule.
There may be prayers, garland exchanges and rituals around a sacred fire. Follow our families’ and celebrant’s guidance, keep phones quiet, and remove shoes if asked in the ceremony area.
Ask before taking close-up photographs during rituals. You don’t need to know every custom — follow the hosts’ lead, and feel free to ask a family member if you’re unsure.

Our wedding celebrations are on 24–25 November 2026 at Shiva Oasis Resort, NH8, Delhi–Jaipur Expressway, Neemrana, Rajasthan 301701. You’ll find the map link in the Travel section.
Check-in at Shiva Oasis Resort is at 12pm on 24 November. Welcome lunch follows at 2pm. The wedding day is 25 November, and check-out is on 26 November; the check-out time is still to follow. Our optional Goa trip runs from 26–30 November.
Indian occasionwear is very welcome, but it isn’t required in this draft guide. The Dress Guide has ideas for each event, including formal Western options. Final dress codes will be confirmed.
Please follow the names and guest allowance on your invitation. Our arrangements for children and any additional guests will be confirmed before RSVPs open.
The RSVP form includes dietary preferences, allergies and additional needs for you and your invited +1. We’ll confirm arrangements with our caterers; please contact us about anything that needs a personal conversation.
Travel to and from the resort will be arranged for you. Our wedding concierge will contact you later to confirm arrival times. Wedding room allocations and costs will be shared separately; Goa accommodation is TBC.
